Northwest Wall and Ceiling BureauThe Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau, based in Seattle, Washington, is an international construction trade association for the wall and ceiling industry, representing Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, Idaho, Manitoba, Oregon, Saskatchewan, and Washington. The NWCB is recognized as a technical authority, educational body and spokesperson for the wall and ceiling industry. For over forty years, the NWCB has been providing services to architects and the construction community on all matters relating to the diversified wall and ceiling business, including gypsum wall board systems, fireproofing, lath and plaster systems, exterior plaster systems (stucco), exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS), ceiling systems, cold form steel framing systems and other related products and systems. It provides information and support to members in the areas of regulation and government changes affecting the industry.
E.I.F.S Council of Canada
The Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (E.I.F.S.) Council of Canada was established to promote the correct application procedures and act as a source of reference for those contractors involved in the installation of these products. The E.I.F.S were an unknown entity in Western Canada until about eighteen years ago. From the very beginning, TDL has been a leader in the use of Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (E.I.F.S.), and its related applications. Our President spearheaded the first major E.I.F.S. project in Western Canada - the exterior of the Canadian Pacific Chateau Lake Louise Hotel.
Alberta Wall and Ceiling Association
Now operating as an Alberta association, with a head office in Calgary, the AWCA is truly the voice of the wall and ceiling industry in Alberta. The AWCA is an association of Alberta manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and affiliated organizations (such as SAIT) in the wall and ceiling industry. The AWCA serves to unite manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors in promoting the wall and ceiling industry, and educating the public and the government about industry issues.
Calgary Construction Association
The Calgary Construction Association (CCA) is a non-profit voluntary membership association which is involved in the fostering and advancement of the interests of those who are engaged in, or who are directly or indirectly connected with the construction industry in the Calgary area. CCA promotes excellence in construction of building and honorable practice in the conduct of business. Founded in 1944 and representing approximately 500 member companies, the association provides a number of services, one of which is COOLNet (Construction Opportunities On-Line Network - www.coolnet.ab.ca). The Calgary Construction Association and affiliates, the Alberta Construction Association and the Canadian Construction Association, are the "VOICE OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY".
Alberta Construction Safety Association
The Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) is a non-profit organization funded and directed by industry. The Association consists of construction industry volunteers supported by a team of professionals based out of offices in Edmonton and Calgary. All the people involved with the ACSA, from the origin of the idea to the present, share a common vision: through cooperative efforts of all those involved, the construction environment in Alberta will be the safest anywhere.
